Harder life: Men vs. Women
Dear fellow ask.comers,
I once did an essay on the topic of who really does have the harder life men or women. This came to my mind today and this has an aspect of relationships as well. Who TRULY has the harder life? I mean women go through certain changes boys don't have to. Girls you know what I'm saying, they don't have to have babies, do they stay homE? I believe the term is houseWIFe not husband lol and of course there's the whole other topic of appearance. I mean girls have to worry about hair makeup and wardrobe, where as men through on anything after they hop out of the shower , maybe put gel in there hair and there set. I mean girls lives are taken up by so many stupid things! I hate worrying about my hair every day I go to school . I have really curly hair and I straighten it for 2 hours! I would really wonder what would happen if we just stopped caring. Haha perhaps stop having kids. Lol could men take over the pressure we have every day of every month. Then there's getting a job men usually do the hiring and its harder for us women to get a job than a man. And there's the whole weight issue I mean take P'diddys show :making the band with the first band he cut a black girl cause she was too fat. This season its men and now there's a huge black guy that's still there how is that right? Lol I don't know I am bored and want to know what you think I know most guys will say guys and girls will say girls but for once think about it.

Women have the hardest life. We are supposed to be smart, sexy, exciting, a tramp in bed, a lady in the living room, chef in the kitchen, baby sitter, nurse, moms taxi service,
To help earn money. Oh and a mind reader.

Women make their lifes harder by choice. No one should spend 2 hours on their hair every day and for who? Men? Nah, women dress for other women.
If you choose a man that does nothing around the house then it's your choice. I cook. Clean, do the wash, spend more time with the kids than my wife. Hey stop having kids if it makes your life better - it's IS your life to live.

Needkarma most women do have a harder life than men do. I was not talking about myself. My husband worked all day and is now cleaning my car out. But all women are not so lucky as myself and Mrs. Needkarma

I think it is almost even:
Women have to be sexy, smart, mothers, suffer PMS and menstrual cycles, shaving under the arms and legs getting jobs and being respected.
Men have to be sexy, smart, shaving the face, always worried about getting some, having to work and support the family
And in my house we both spend time with our son (seperately and as a family), cook, clean and mow the yard.
I know there is a lot of difference and some don't apply to all but I think the grass always looks greener on the other side.

When in comes to love men have it much harder IMO. We have to suck up so much.
Everyday life such as work and handling business women seem to have more of a problem because emotions get in the way.
Women seem to me to be more good natured and just automatically know more things and can handle more.

I choose my life the harder way-especially on career side.
I studied engieering, was the President of the Engineering Chapter. I compete with men, and I also spend time taking care of myself.
I enjoy it, nothing to complain about whose life is harder, the more effort u contribute, the more you receive.

No gender's life is inherently harder than the other. Any thought that they are so is just silly. Men and women each have problems and issues to deal with that are different. Anything beyond that becomes personal choice (such as makeup and hair or being a good provider) and thus does not reflect gender.
The question itself creates a false premise and all the answers supporting one way or another are based off these false premises.
If you want to ask the question properly: In your opinion, which gender chooses to make their lifes more difficult? Men or women?
That's how it should be asked.

If you can't work together, and be happy, you shouldn't be together. That's why many couples break up. Its not easy for man or woman.

Everyone has their crosses to bear in this life and its very difficult to sit in judgment and say one is heavier then another.
