I used to ask for my dad in my sleep too. When I was younger I was "daddy's little girl" and then when he moved out he said I could move with him and live with him. But then my evil stepmother said I couldn't live there, and if he wanted me to he had to choose me or her. Well, needless to say, he chose her.

I had the freakiest dream last night....... I was like 6 years old and my father was standing at the foot of the bed asking me if I wanted him to make his famous blueberry pancakes (which I've never had ever) and I wouldn't answer him so he got mad and he started throwing my teddy bear (named Brandi Bear after my best friend who passed away) and I couldn't stop him so my mom came in and made him leave.
