    Re: Spyware
Well, from what I gather, it is a variation of CoolWebShredder, common spyware that brings up that unwanted MySearch page and puts MySearch in you toolbar (This maybe deleted under start, settings, control panel Add/Remove Programs, MySearch Toolbar), to which sometimes the web address reads about:blank. This means that it is in your registry to restrict you from resetting the homepage. The best way if your running a windows machine is to start in safemode, run spybot and rid yourself of this unwanted spyware.

    Spyware
    Hi,
Here are 2 free programs that have helped my computer stay Spyware clean.

The first is CWShredder, designed specifically for CoolWebSearch programs:

    http://www.intermute.com/products/cwshredder.html

The Second is SpyWare Blaster, which can be updated regularly, requires no scanning, but integrates with the browser, stopping this stuff from getting into the computer in the first place:

I haven't had ANY spyware in months, since using the Spyware Blaster.
    Best wishes,
    fredg
