My EX girlfriend trying to sue
Yes I was with this girl for about a year, and we have Credit cards togetther, most in her name but me as a 2 user, so I had a card to. But now that were not togetther nomore she trying to sue me for the bills? Its funny cause when we were togetther, she was like its OK I love you and its all good but now that were not notthing anymore she dose this? WHAT CAN I DO? CAN SHE SUE ME? WHO CAN I TALK TO TO HELP ME OUT ON THIS? I just want her to leave me the hell alone. I was going to help her pay for it. But I don't work right now just got laid off, and when we were togetther she's said its OK. Now she text me and call me like non stop and I hated it. HELP please. Thanks.

Any credit cars that are in both of your names are your joint responsibility, As such, she can sue you, you can sue her, the credit card company can sue either or both of you. In the event of a judgment, they can collect from either or both of your via wage garnishment, freezing accounts, etc.

There is a difference between being a #2 user and being a signator on the debt. If you do not sign as a co-borrower then you are not responsible to the credit card company for the debt, if you did you are.
However, if she gave you the card to use and you used ot for personal stuff, she may be able to sue you for what you spent. It depends on what you spent the money on.
