    COBRA Eligibility
    If I decide to quit my existing job where I Have been for 8 months and have medical insurance can I elect COBRA continuation even though I have only been there 8 months?

    I believe you can but keep in mind that COBRA, last time I checked, only gives you the right to coverage for 18 months AND at the rates they have established AND if you have any prexisting conditions, those will be coverered as well. But keep in mind that if you are a healthy person with no pre existing health issues, then you may be able to find a better rate / better coverages by shopping the market. COBRA is really useful to those with pre existing conditions that prevent them from finding coverage that will cover those conditions or someone in a risky occupation such as crop dusting, etc.
