    Sumfin up with my telly??
For some reason, in the past 4 days, my telly has been acting weird
It is a pacific television and on the remot there is a button that you can press and it flicks between the 2 channels reciently accessed
When I press that, my TV goes black and white coloured and if I have a scart in the back, I hear fuzzyness and if I move the cable it goes all crazy with the picture

Also the darkness changes every so often
    What's wrong?
What can be done to fix it?

    Hmmm not good
    Hello,

Unfortunately this appears to be a problem either in the picture tube or in the circuitry. Usually when this happens, it is time to retire the television, because costs of repairing the TV will be too much and you might as well just buy a brand new one. Unless it is a large screen TV or otherwise expensive, it is probalby time to get a new one.

May I recommend Panasonic? We use those here at the studio and we still have ones from the seventies that work beautifully.

    Good luck... hope this helps.

The old telly wnt show video anymore via scart
This telly it only occurred since about 5 days ago

Couldn't I not just open it up and fix it myself?

You could perhaps if you know what you are doing... I'm not very familiar with SCART, but perhaps a contact just needs to be re-soldered or something - let me know if you fix it

Perhaps you can find some sort of guide on the Internet on how to fix it, but I wouldn't know where - try googleing it
