BBC NEWS | In Pictures | In Pictures: UK under water

BBC NEWS | England | North Yorkshire | Villages evacuated by new floods

BBC NEWS | UK | Torrential rain sweeps across UK

Soooo... I was wondering if anyone fancied chipping in on buiding an ark?

Between us I'm sure we've got the skills to pay the bills! :D

Ha ha, yeah but you're SURROUNDED by water! (I know all of England is too, technically!)

In my office, I keep getting blamed for all the rain! I put a picnic bench together a couple of months ago and the rain started that evening... it feels like it hasn't stopped since! Ha ha!

Still reckon it's that bloody song "umbrella" to blame. How about they start playing "in the summertime", Mungo Jerry

Ah actually the glass is two sizes too big...

Perhaps Britain is two sizes too small and we should extend the island using rubbish from the landfill sites in order to accommodate the rain. No one will notice the change in the beaches and we can solve our waste disposal problem as well. Templelane for environment minister!

It has been a ridiculous 'summer'

What a great idea, yes yes yes... Litres of Guinness, forget those sissy pint glasses... oh sorry the landfill and extending our coast line... towards Ireland (I hope) and the Dublin brewery... sorry (again) but its Friday and my world revolves around the black stuff.

The M40 was totally flooded which just ruined traffic in every direction!
