    What is the procedure for changing a drive train belt on John Deere Riding Lawn Mower LT155?

    First make a drawing of the way it is routed so you remember how it goes around the ldlers. Remove deck. Remove belt guide on trans. Remove 2 idler nuts. Remove idlers or lower them a bit. Remove belt guide at engine or remove nut and drop jacksheave/clutch whicever is easier for you.Remove old belt and replace with new one. Good Luck

    Here is a layout that I keep handy for my POS John Deere LT 155 38" deck. . I loathe and despise mine and cannot wait until the day that I can replace it with even a no-name brand. I've renamed mine the John Deere LX BLZ model (doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out guys!) *wink

    Hi,
    Looks like two of you need diagrams. Note: If I had not been a Deere mechanic for years I may or may not have noticed the fact that it was two separate posts here; best to start your own!
