How do I reset the keyless entry password on my garage door opener? It's a craftsman 1/2h.r. Everyone keeps telling me to press the reset button on the unit, but there is no reset button on the unit nor the keypad??

This may help until more accurate info arrives . May need to hold down 8? Seconds, to clear old codes. Don't do this if you have other transmitters, as they will need to be reprogrammed again(Not a real problem.)
The button is at the ceiling, will need ladder. The keypad and keyfobs stay the same. It is the receiver that learn the code.

Press button on operator until it lights, enter 4 digit code, and press enter, that's it. Test.
For keyfob: Press button until it lights, push button on keyfob until light goes out.
Hope it works.
Look for loose wire near ceiling, may be antenna and will help locate at rear of motor operator, to find reset/learn switch.
