Yeah I used to play third base but when ever they hit the ball hard on the ground then I would panick and freeak out and get out of tha way.any ideas on how to calm down and get the ball.and not be afraid of it?

Wear a batting helmet with a face guard. Don't back away from the ball, charge hard so you get the ball before it has a chance to "skip" and play you. Once you feel comfortable with your technique, take the helmet off. 3rd base is a lot like the pitching mound. It's a reaction position when a screamer is hit at you. I was hit in the jaw at 3rd and dodged the hits after that. The helmet helped me regain my confidence. Good Luck!

Well just keep your glove on the ground and then when it reaches your glove close it and throw it!
Don't be scared of it!
