    '90 maxima starter
    Where is the starter located on my 1990 Maxima? I need to replace it & understand that it is a simple process.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Follow the cable from the positive battery terminal to the starter. Remember to disconnect the negative. Battery cable before working around the starter. There's no need to replace the starter motor, if the problem really resides with just the starter solenoid. Much cheaper to replace just the solenoid.
