There are an infinite number of coordinates. Literally.

To graph, you technically only need two coordinates. I like doing the intercepts but you may be required to do more than that for class.

Basic concept is the pick a number of your choosing for x, plug it in, and then solve for y. That set is your coordinates. Then choose another number for x and repeat. It's common to start with 0 for the x, then do like 1 and -1, and 2 and -2, that type of thing.

For instance, if x = 0, then y is going to equal -4. So the coordinate is (0, -4).
