    Before I start I have to assume it is your probation that we speak about, if not then tell me who. Depends on your state laws and what your probation states. Do you still have the materials give to you by your PO? It states the terms.

    Well, there is no absolute answer because we've got 50 states and the federal government, all with different rules. Plus, each individual defendant has their own particular rules...

    Having said that, I'd say no.

    First is it "mace" or it is a pepper spray,
    Does your state have restrictions on the carry and/or use of it.

    When you say is it a violation, do you mean to carry it or to use it ?

    A lot more info is needed
