There's another thread on this subject that you should look at.

    https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/hard-d...ve-166700.html

Some USB Flash drives (the more-used name for the "pen drive") have software on them that can be used to write protect them. This software can often be removed and sometimes reinstalled later. If you remove the encrypting software, it will unprotect the drive. Of course, you may lose everything that was encrypted on the drive.

Download one of the following registry tweaks to enable or disable writing to USB drives.

    Enable USB Write
    http://www.howtogeek.com/wp-content/...leUSBWrite.zip

    Disable USB Write
    http://www.howtogeek.com/wp-content/...leUSBWrite.zip

Once you use the registry hack, you will have to reboot for the changes to take effect. One should also note that if you are using this trick, you should make sure that the users are not administrators on the computer, because they could easily change this setting back.

This works on Windows Vista as well.

If above does not work, follow link above to the other option which involves registry edit

Try to copy pen drive's data to your desktop then, please format the pen drive and now you will able to copy data to your pen drive.
You can scan the pen drive and it will work prefect.
