Hampton Bay ceiling fan OK, CF lights flicker
My Hampton Bay ceiling fan lights were working fine (3 - 13W CF bulbs), then I turned them off, and turned them back on and they just started flickering (all 3). I replaced all bulbs but same issue. Is there something in side the fan (capacitor perhaps) that may have gone bad. The fan came with the house. Model AC 552, SKU 554-492. Any thoughts?

Is it controlled with a dimmer? How are the lights controlled?

No dimmer involved. There is a switch on the wall that controls the lights on/off and 3 positions for the fan HML OFF.

I suspect the switch is the issue. But try it with incandescent bulbs.
