No brownies for you, ala the soup chef on Seinfeld. ;)

Understand its all about perspective...
The calling to "evangelize" is a fundamental call, and one of the hardest parts, of being a christian. Some people take it door to door. I tend to do it through "acts of service"... helping others who know I do this as a part of my belief system (food bank, tutoring, etc).
For nonbelievers, its an invasion. A disruptance. I get that.
Its not that unlike a person who is "hit on"... when you are interested, it is welcomed. When you aren't, its harassment.
So... I've also been "targeted" as I'm more than willing to talk some with strangers about faith issues. I don't see someone with a different belief system as threatening and I learn more the more I, um, well, learn... so I tend to be kind and friendly.
When they came back again, and again, and then again, I had to finally say...
"i appreciate your call to evangelize and respect your confidence. but i am secure in my denomination and you are wasting time better spent elsewhere. any further literature you bring me will go right into the recycling bin and is a waste of your resources. you need to go elsewhere."
Not saying I'm not still on a list somewhere, but I haven't seen them since, and that's been about two years.

This relationship done hit a dead end and staying with someone just because he is familiar to you is called "settling". I mean if you really to ask strangers if your boyfriend stills care for you than yes something is majorly wrong.
