    Nails from the salon
I got my nails done about 2 weeks ago. I want to remove them soon but I don't have the money to get them taken off. Is there any way to take them off with out damaging the nail underneath and without ripping them off?

In nail salons, they pour acetone in a bowl and soak your fingers in to remove acrylic nails. You can purchase a professional acrylic nail removal kit at your local drug store, or you can get a bottle of acetone at the beauty supply store. You will need to soak your fingernails in it for about 15 to 20 minutes to loosen and remove the acrylics from your nails. Afterwards, massage hand cream into your nails and nail beds, as acetone is extremely drying.

Looking for sheetrock nails that don't rust! [ 7 Answers ]

I've installed quite a bit of sheetrock, and it seems that the nail heads always eventually rust, when located near a shower or tub. The screws do a much better job, but it sure seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to manufacture an aluminum alloy nail that would not rust. I've looked for...
