    Keyboard isn't responding
    I had to use onscreen keyboard to write this excuse my grammar

    This happened one morning a few days ago I booted up my computer to find the keyboard doesn't work I tried rebooting it but didn't get any luck

    The computer is a hp laptop
    I think the keyboard can detect the laptop because on bootup the flightmode light starts red and goes white but when I try to use the keyboard nothing happens at all
    I tried looking in devices, but keyboard wasn't even there

    I tried looking in keyboard hardware and it came up with a empty table

    Please can you tell me how to fix it?

    Have you tried a USB keyboard yet?

    I'm guessing its likely a hardware failure with the keyboard that's built in... and not an O/S issue.

    Try accessing the BIOS (F2, F10 or DEL button)
    If that works then there is a problem with windows.

    If not, get the keyboard replaced. They are quite cheap.
