New York congressman: 'The picture was of me, I sent it'
WASHINGTON — After days of denials, a choked-up New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner confessed Monday that he tweeted a bulging-underpants photo of himself to a young woman. "The picture was of me, I sent it," he told a room full of reporters in Manhattan.
Weiner said he intended to send the picture as a joke, but "I panicked, I took it down and said that I had been hacked."
A conservative website that last week started a furor over that lewd image posted new photos Monday purportedly from a second woman who said she received shirtless shots of the congressman.
Weiner, who said he has no intentions of resigning, also admitted to additional, questionable online behavior.
Weiner said he has had "several inappropriate conversations with women I have met online," he approximated that there had been "about six women over the past three years." He said many of the exchanges took place before his marriage, but others happened more recently.
Weiner insisted the relationships never moved beyond online interactions. "I have never met any of these women ... I've never had sex outside of my marriage."
The lawmaker said he does not believe that he used government property or congressional time to send these online messages. "I don’t believe I did anything here that violates any law or violates my oath to my constituents."
Just another Democrat pervert to celebrate. Oh, and didn't someone say Breitbart never tells the truth?

Update: Reportedly the last question shouted at Weiner at his press conference was (and I am not joking), “Were you fully erect, Congressman?”

I'm still clueless as to why men think women want to see something other than dreamy eyes or a well-oiled chest. Guess I'm not the only clueless one. Reminds me of the silly male monkeys strutting around on the rocks on Monkey Island at Brookfield Zoo.

Huffpo blogger Lee Stranahan pointed out the left's strategy from here on:
The strategy going forward will be make Weiner the victim, Breitbart the villain... guaranteed
Poor little Weiner.

I'll start a letter-writing campaign to get him out. The man is beyond disgusting (juvenile?), more for the lies than even the original offense. (Did you see his bare-chest photo? *gack*)

Lol . Good luck with that . Charles Rangel is still serving and what he did costs taxpayers big bucks.

Hello again, clete:
The problem is, NOBODY is pure. There are only those that have the balls to SAY they're pure. Like I said above, I don't want those hypocrites running anything.
Now, if there really IS anyone who has never had a carnal thought, they are so weird, they ought to be studied - not put in charge.

And anyone so reckless as to photo his package in a room in the Capitol is too irresponsible to be handed a position of public trust . Chris Lee resigned within an hour after getting caught sending a bare chested photo to CraigsList.
Why is Weiner still serving ?
