    When it comes to comedy, who is better? Jim Carrey, or Adam Sandler?

    That is tough, since I do not care for either one very much. I would vote for Adam Sandler. Jim Carrey is not that funny - it appears that he has to force himself to be funny and that is not funny. But, that is just my opinion too.

    Jim Carey has more of a variety of characters he's played... while Adam Sandler's characters all seem the same in my opinion

    Adam Sandler has made me laugh more often than Jim Carey, though there is one problem. Here is how I believe he creates his characters
    Step 1- choose speech impediment
    Step 2- choose- lovable retard, or idiotic asswhole retard?
    Step 3- insert cliché movie bits into the script

    That's easy.. jim carrey is funniest... I like adam sandler also. But the only ones of adam's that made me laugh hardest is the water boy and bill madison.. that is it... jim's movies that made lmao are liar, liar, ace ventura pet detective, bruce almighty, even the cable guy was pretty good even though it was trashed by critics and did not do well in the box office.

    I say jim carrey. Liar liar is the only movie I have ever watched that made me laugh at least once a minute.
    Adam sandler is great. But jim carrey is better imo
