Tattoo identification and process
I have no government issued id. But I have school records that list DOB, address, SSN, name, age, race, sex, picture. Pretty much everything that is on a government issued id.
Now. I am wanting to get a tattoo and have no way of getting a government issued id yet.
And I was wondering if I could use this record to get a tattoo.
I used it to get my SSN and my Birth Certificate this week and I was wondering that since I used it on something legal if it would be OK at a body shop.
If you need anymore info just ask

Your school Library card isn't a legal ID... just get a legal ID... this is the real world and things have to be done the adult way... what do you mean you don't have the means? Its not hard... or expensive.

Really... you must not be in the USA then... because a school id is just a school id... its not a legal form of ID.
And you are one rude SOB giving a not helpful for a [perfectly accurate answer... YOu are now on your own to figure this out since you obviously haven't developed the mental capacity yet to grasp the asnwer I gave you...
A school ID is just as much a legal document OUTSIDE of your school as a library card is. But then... you think life is like school was... you are in for one hell of a shock.

Agreed, what nation is this, since it obviously not the US.
In the US, you will need a state issued ID and any legit tattoo artist would not do it, without the required ID the state and county requires.
In the US a school ID would not get you any other ID.

School records, like your transcripts can be used for some official ID, ( not a school ID card) the issue is that they are too easily forged.
But school records are not normally accepted for almost any ID records.
On social security card, they have a list of accepted documents.

I know this is going to go WAY above the head of the Not helpful giver...
But a REAL id has specific LEGAL requirements...
Real ID Act of 2005: Summary
None of those being a school ID.

Official school transcript basically but again, has little legal value, I deleted the one you posted, it contained too much personal info ( for your protection)
At the end of this, they may take it, or if you hand them a 100 dollar bill they may not care, it all depends on the tattoo artist, or company doing this. I have had people do tattoos out in the middle of my carport before,
So the only way to know what they will or won't take for sure is to call them up.

Since its obvious you have no respect for the SITE RULES... you already HAVE a thread on this topic.. Site rules permit on ONE thread per topic.but you just don't want to believe the number of CORRECT answers you have ALREADY been given... this thread has been reported.
A student ID is NOT a legaL FORM of id... and in your other thread you claimed it wasn't a student ID.

How is the attached picture not a student ID? ("Student Information") It sure looks like one.
By the way, I'm a moderator. Please refrain from shouting at and being rude to respected members who have done their best to answer your question on ALL your other threads. I don't want you to get into trouble here, but have a good experience and allow others the same courtesy.

Why are you using two separate accounts. This is also in violation of the rules of this site.

If you feel someone has violated our rules you report it. However, the only violations I see are from you. Being rude and giving unfair ratings. So suck it up and be more polite and stick to the rules.
