    Menstruation
Im 32 years. Ever since my monthly period falls on the 26th day of each month. In April 2012 I had my period on the 1st of the month and on the 22nd started again. They normally last for 5-7days.Is it normal to have your period start early than expected and sometimes have it later than expected.I have never had sex although I have a boyfriend. We do have oral sex only strictly no penetration.

Yes it is normal for your period to start earlier than normal or a little later than normal by a few days. Menstruation can even become slightly irregular due to certain physical conditions. A period doesn't go by the calendar but an approximate 28 day cycle. However, even if you're regular like clockwork, your body may suddenly decide you're on a 21 day, or 34 days cycle and then switch back to your regular 28 days after a period... this is normal and OK. HOWEVER if you experience heavy period, missing periods or other physical symptoms more than being a little early or late... talk to your doctor.

Period irregularity can be caused by metabolic conditions, hormone changes and stress (as well as weight gain or loss).

And just to clarify... when I said your body might decide to be on a 21 day cycle or a 34 day cycle, those aren't the only possible cycle durations... I was just illustrating that your body may, for no abnormal reason, switch things up on you a little bit!
