    Honeywell wiring need to connect to a lux tx9000ts wiring
    I am replacing a honeywell non-programmable with a Lux TX9000TS. The old wiring inputs show e, aux, y, g, o, l, r, b, c (with is optional with batteries) and the new lux is w,y,g,b,o,rc,rh,c. Which wires go were?

    If instructions didn`t come with the Lux,, I would return it,, and buy yourself a good Honeywell

    Do you have a TRANE HP?

    In any event the new stst doesn't have aux/emg heat.
    (B) is used as common on some TRANE systems.

    So aux and e are not used with the new lux, is that what you are telling me? Sorry I am not tech savy so I am sure I will end up asking an otherwise dumb question.

    What you have been told so far is that the Lux thermostat is junk but you seem not to want to listen to knowledgeable people.

    Then the next guy told you that the Lux thermostat does not have a setting OR a terminal for aux/emergency heat further meaning that the Lux thermostat is junk.

    What we can never figure out here is why people buy this stuff. Get a Honeywell or White Rodgers in others words a REAL thermostat and one that has the terminals you need. Just trying to save you some trouble down the road.

    It might work for a while in Florida where emergency heat typically isn't required. Always guaranteed to work as a paper weight.
