    Boyfriend is depressed
Hey. I need to keep this brief. My boyfriend has asthma and he's realizing its getting a little serious to the point where he may not be able to do so much. He's had a horrible day.. What do I say to make him feel better? It's so hard to know what to say when you're in the situation. All help would be appreciated:(

Shouldn't he go see a doctor?

You don't need to say too much. Just be there for him. Just assure him that you are there if he needs anything.

He has. He's gotten a shot to help him today when he got an asthma attack and he goes again on Friday to get more shots and meds. His main concerns is him not being able to do what he used to and it bothers him greatly. He said I did cheer him up but I want to know what he really wants me to say. I told him I was there any time day or night and he said thank you I really appreciate that. I just know how it feels and I know he needs support and I just want to know how to help him the best that I can

I wish I knew more, but what you said doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me in terms of shots and asthma.

Asthma triggered by allergies makes sense. Shots to treat allergies makes sense.

Asthma should be reverseable or nearly so. People that have exercise induced asthma, for instance, can pre-treat with an inhaler before exercise.

Wish I knew what's going on in order to make better suggestions. e.g. Allergies? To what? Asthma triggers? Current meds? Peak flow and reference or peak flow expressed as a percentage of his reference?

Being there for him is enough, you can't really do anything because you're not a doctor... oh, if he has problem breathing at night.. Umm.. I have Asthma, too... I would use som mentholatum cream mix with hot water, breath in helps and reliefs...

As long as he knows that none of it is his fault (really stress that) when he can't do anything.
Just support him and suggest you do some things together like board games where he won't feel depressed about not being able to be so active :)

Sometimes unspoken words speaks volumes. You can show you care by your actions. I bet your being there when he needs you is all that he wants and grateful for. It's a great feeling when you feel love by someone and having someone around that has your back.

Sorry he is going through what he is going through and hopes he feels better.

Wow, lucky guy. What did he do before? Maybe reasearching the topic and learing about it will help? "Knowledge is power."- unknown. You never know when you may stumble upon something helpful. Are there support groups, or counseling for that kind of thing?

    Good luck.

    Peace and kindness.

Just keep doing what your doing.

The first 30-50 episodes are not as good as the later ones, but there are important plot line points. But after the first 100 episodes there is a more serious series called recovery ONE. It's the intro to a super funny series Reconstruction. The first episode is OK, but once "Wash" meets Caboose, well, Hahha. "It's not my fault, some one put a wall in my way." haha. You'll get it if you watch it, it's just funny. The story is actaully pretty good to, like really I got addicted to it. It was one of those stories that you just want to know what happens. Then there is 4 more episodes of the relocated series.

Yeah, Sorry if that's a lot, but it's worth a looky "pooh";)

P.S. Red Vs Blue (Look up Roosterteeth. They made it.) so funny.

    Cheers
