Hit in eye, what to do?
The other day I got slapped with an open palm in the eyeball. Now I'm having headaches and some blurry vision in the eye. The eye feels heavy and sore and its annoying when I look in certain directions. The hit was two days ago. Should I go to the Dr. or will this thing probably subside? The contact was on the eyeball and not on the orbital bone. Thanks.

If it were me I'd see a doctor, but this is your decision.

I was a fighter in my youth, have gotten hit in the face and eye, 100s of time, no at this point, vision should not be blurred, unless face is swollen greatly.
Time to see doctor

Optometrist would be good, but where I live my general doctor would be my first stop, as he is able to handle all my medical needs and sends me to the appropriate specialist when needed.
In other words, I can't tell you which doctor to see or what's required to see said doctor (pcp as you wrote), because I'm not a doctor (nor is any expert on this site). That's something you'll have to figure out all on your own.

I hope they can do something for me. Its still bothering. And it hurts to focus, its kind of blurry or I don't know its annoying. Still confused as to whether I should see an optometrist or a ophthalmologist, I hope I don't need a pcp referral though cause its annoying and I went to my pcp a lot already for another injury so I am a little embarrassed to go again for this. I just want to do a walk in I guess either tomorrow or on Monday cause most places are closed Sunday. Any advice of what to do in the meantime will really be appreciated.

Walk into any eyeglass place that has an optometrist. They have plenty of training and equipment, and will do a referral if needed. So if you need an ER tonight, you can find out now! GO!
