My girlfriend and I do not live together she bought me a house to live in,any rights?
My Girl friend who is well off bought me a house to live in Michigan, She lives in her own house in Florida. We have never co-habitated. She now is threatening me to get out of her house. Do I have any rights in that she bought it specifically for me, told people that? My name is not on the deed. I did at the time of purchase serve as her power of attorney to close on the house in Michigan because she was in Florida.

None. And it sounds like your POA was very limited.
But she has to evict you, as if you were a tenant, even a non-paying one.

You could look into palimony, but don't plunk down any money... just call around for possible contingency lawyers. Given that you didn't bear her children, or take care of her children/parents/anyone, or in any other ways 'give up your life for her,' you really don't have a snowball's chance in hell, but what the heck.

She didn't buy you a house. She purchased a house and is allowing you to live in it. There is a big difference in those two statements. As long as you are not on the deed you have no ownership rights to the house.

As Joy said, you are a legal resident in the house and have to be legally evicted, but that's merely a formality.

Doesn't matter what she told anyone else. You reside in her home at her pleasure. She can even raise the rent and go through the process of kicking you out anytime she feels like it unless you have an agreement.

    Do you?
