It's all so absurd and so separated from reality. I received my second shot two days ago, but I'm still required to wear a mask.

You wear a mask because you can be a spreader to anyone not vaccinated. You're safe now, but I and the others who haven't gotten one or both shots are vulnerable.

You can't be a spreader if you don't have it. If a vaccinated person can have it, then the vaccine is not very effective. But even at that, the masks are only marginally effective, especially considering that they are frequently not worn properly.

If you are with someone who has covid, with symptoms or not yet, the virus can spread from that infected person’s mouth or nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe heavily, and go onto your hair, lips, into your eyes. Then you visit your Aunt Louise, as yet unvaccinated, at her home. As you kiss her hello and chat with her, those particles can float onto her.

Again, you can't be a spreader if you don't have it, and if you've taken the vaccine, and if it's effective, then you don't have it.

Yes, you can be a spreader. If you're with an unvaccinated person(s) for any length of time, especially if there's any touching, hugging, kissing, etc., please take a bath or shower when you get home and change your clothes before going out again.

When any person yawns, sneezes, coughs, speaks, snd even just breathes, saliva droplets spray into the air -- and into the noses and maybe open (talking, yawning) mouths of others. Thus, the mask wearing and social distancing should be done even by those who've been vaccinated -- because unmasked vaccinated people will then carry those droplets in their mouths and noses and spray/spread them to others.

The article said nothing about that, thus your "thus" is really a stretch. I doubt there is any evidence whatsoever for that kind of secondary transmission occurring. Certainly it would seem to be wildly unlikely.
"Having close contact w ith someone who is infected is a much more common way to get infected, the agency said."

Those that didn't mask before aren't likely to mask now, let alone any other of the virus precautions.

So why does my hematologist and his medical staff, who've gotten both shots, continue to wear masks and maintain social distancing from their patients? Why??? So they don't spread covid bacteria in droplets that unsymptomatic patients cough, sneeze, and breathe on them and that they then inhale and spread to unvaccinated patients.

Okay, here's the back-story. I started dating a girl, and on the second date I told her I unequivocally don't want children. And by unequivocally I mean I didn't have any children and I had a vasectomy years before I even met her. None of this was ambiguous, I actually said the words " I had a...
