I would like to know when.
I was just wondering, when do you become a teenager?
After the age of ten?
After you start your periods?
When you turn thirteen?
Can anyone tell me when?

It is when you turn 13. That you are technically a teenager

Ok thanks I am told by my mum that I am almost a teenager, however if I become a teenager when I turn thirteen then I am 2 years away.

Officially you are a teenager between the ages of thirTEEN and nineTEEN, hence the name teenager.
However, many pre-teens these days act like teenagers acted in their parents day. That's probably what you mum means.

You would think my 7 year old was a teenager and my 12 year old way past her teens more like her 40s very old head on young shoulders.

Maybe my Mum means I act like a teenager, where we used to live someone mistook me for a thirteen year old when I was only ten.
