AOL patent sale in balance sheet
    Hi All,

I am trying to understand in accounting and the following is confusing me.

AOL sold around 1 billion to Microsoft. From it's 10-Q report, I see that it is recorded in "Business Acquisitions, Dispositions and Other Significant Transactions (Details) (USD $)"

But where will that cash be recorded? I don't see that billion recorded in the cash?

Could you please help me to understand that?

    Regards,
    Rajesh.
