The United States is announcing a new contribution of more than $308 million in humanitarian assistance for the people of Afghanistan. This brings total U.S. humanitarian aid in Afghanistan and for Afghan refugees in the region to nearly $782 million since October 2021, and we remain the single largest donor of humanitarian aid in Afghanistan. In addition, the United States is providing the people of Afghanistan one million additional COVID-19 vaccine doses through COVAX, bringing our total to 4.3 million doses.
The new humanitarian assistance by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will directly flow through independent humanitarian organizations and help provide lifesaving protection and shelter, essential health care, winterization assistance, emergency food aid, water, sanitation, and hygiene services in response to the growing humanitarian needs exacerbated by COVID-19 and healthcare shortages, drought, malnutrition, and the winter season.

Yep. Exactly what a nation 30 trillion in debt should be doing.

Yep. If we waste money by giving it to a terrorist government, we just won't waste any more...hopefully. What a plan.

No, you got it backwards - I'm not surprised. If it's not working, it stops. Try to see things clearly, not with your bias.

OK. See we'll see if it works first, but do that somehow without giving any money? Please explain how that works.

This was your quote. "If it doesn't get to where it's needed, we end it. Simple as that." To see if it gets to where it is needed, we plainly have to budget it and then send it. We'll spend 300 mil to see if it gets to "where it is needed." So it is exactly as I described it.

Yes, that's my quote - good for you.

That's not my quote. Stop lying.

I did not say the second part was a quote. Note the absence of quotation marks other than the four words which were from your statement. So there was no lying at all.
Perhaps you can explain how this description was not accurate. "If we waste money by giving it to a terrorist government, we just won't waste any more."

Wrong thread. Anyways, it was disputed by the non-partisan CBO.

The Treasury Department believes the impact from spending $80 billion over 10 years on increased IRS enforcement on the wealthy would garner about twice that: $400 billion, which, if correct, would make the Build Back Better Act “fully paid for.”

Treasury Dept is under the control of the Dem swamp machine . CBO is somewhat independent. Had the CBO confirmed the Dems talking points that would've been front page news in the compliant press. Here's the reality . Build Brandon Better is dead beyond whatever political advantage the Dems can gleam from it in the campaign. Their filibuster putsch is dead .Their national election grab is dead .
It has gotten so bad for Clueless Joe that Stacy Abrahams ;who is campaigning on her baseless allegations that the election was stolen from her ,did not attend his Georgia rant because she needed to get her tires rotated .

Did you mean bias instead of reality? Sure looks that way.
