I am installing a new roto stop cable and need to know how to secure the cable to the roto stop under the engine. It has a "washer" and do I just force it on the end of the cable??

Thanks! I got it done and the box spring fits perfect now. I have ALL the wood working tools and they came in handy but a novice wouldn't be able to install these brackets.
