Hi clough its hard to say what it is on the windows. Its like a film that at one time I thought it might be between the glasses but the swearing pattern changes each time we try to clean the window....

We have used windex, bon-ami, vinagar, windex for outside glass, mr. clean eraser, vinager water and amonia togeather, spray9 , avon bubble bath, baby shampoo. The windows are exterior facing east
