This is a strange trend I've been noticing around my friends lately - saying "hither twice". It's used as a kind of "I agree". Such as:

Bob: Do you want to go to the café?
John: Hither twice!
...

While this may be normal... There may also be a problem with the pituitary gland. You may want to see a doctor.

The redness seems to be normal. However, if it lasts longer, or if it becomes more painful, I suggest seeing a doctor.
