Hi! I've written here before... had some issues with my period - missed it for 6 months... then prolactin level went down to normal on its own [level of 12] - Dr. put me on 21 days of birth control...

Just an update - results from bloodwork (male test.) were normal... so alas, no more high prolactin levels, everything fine, ultrasounds normal... I'm going to my Dr tomorrow to ask her now what?...

It has been 6 months now w/o a period... what do you think the reason is? The doctors haven't mentioned the possibility of PCOS... I had 2 types of ultrasounds and they said that everything came back...

I have written on here before thinking that I had a certain problem for not getting my period in 6 months now... testing came back with high levels of prolactin but now my levels are normal and MRI...

Surprised that your Dr. just put you on meds to trigger your AF...
You should really get tested for other things... could be for different reasons...

I KNOW the feeling... I say the same thing... it's very frustrating... I think that your Dr. should run some more tests - the reason for my period not returning is because of high levels of prolactin...

I'm right there with you - my last period was on Jan 25th and I am now 3 weeks late. I've read on many forums that it IS still possible to be pregnant and the tests still showing negative... and in...

I would suggest waiting once you miss your period - if you can wait after 1 week... then test. Most get a result by then...

I am currently 19 days late w/ my period. I tested this morning and again, another negative. So far I have tested twice. Still no sign of my period coming. This is frustrating.

Interesting! I am ALSO 8 days late and tested on the weekend but got a NEGATIVE result... I am going to re-test in another week when I will be 2 weeks late (if I haven't gotten my period by then... )...
