After replaced to the new 4 wires pull chain switch and replacing the wires according to the instrction, but the fan works only high and low not middium speed. Can some one help?

After replaced to the new 4 wires pull chain switch and replacing the wires according to the instrction, but the fan works only high and low not middium speed
