I'm fairly certain that FreeBSD uses the UFS2 filesystem. Which stands for Unix File System 2.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like your Windows installation has given out on you. I would recommend a reinstall of Windows. Hopefully you have backed up any important data.

Go to Start->Run
In the "Run" box, type "cmd" and hit enter.
