You just shouldn't worry about that... they'll probably just be hos when they reach adult hood. They suck up to them because they want to be cool too... but it wont really even matter... just find...

To answer all of the questions... 1. yes she is spayed. 2. she is an only dog. 3. She, well is very shy around other dogs, like at the dog park she is usually running away. &4. She doesn't snap at us...

I don't think it's a good idea to put anything else with turtles, since some do bite & snap at other animals. But frogs & lizards would probably be a lot more compatible.

My leopard gecko would sometimes get sick if I didn't feed it for more than about 2-3 days... well, if I ever got off schedule of feeding her she wouldn't eat anything and would be very hard to get...
