Need to remember an anime movie I love
It was an anime movie I believe from the mid-80's to early 90's. I know that it is quite a wide range but here is some more information. It is set in a futuristic world, humans have space stations around Earth for defense or some other reason. There is an alien life form with sort of flat, oval-shaped head with a mainly black body, not sure on the color. The main character's brother is a hunter with beads in his hair sent to kill it and he would always flick the beads when he left. He does not return, the main character copies her brothers job and even has beads in her hair. She flicks them like her brother does. As she hunts the alien, during one of her encounters with it, I believe it is near the end, you find out that the alien absorbed her brother and it shows her brother's face and body. She ends up killing the alien after her brother pleads with her to kill the alien and himself. She uses a big rifle wrapped in some sort of cloth as one of her main weapons she uses other weapons as well as her rifle. I can't remember what the girl looks like beside the beads in her hair. I believe her brother has silver hair, not 100% though. If you recognize this movie please tell me what it is I'm seriously perturbed by not knowing this. Thank you for any help people can give.
