    Router Problems
    I now have a laptop connected via a linksys wireless Router and also to my desk top
    And use cox cable. I just bought a new net book and it is close to the router. When
    Click wireless net work connections are show all connections it will not connect
    And when I bought the laptop and the router 2 years ago I have never had a problem.
    It is just trying to get the internet on to the net book. Please help if you can

    What security mode:

    WEP (bad choice)
    WPA-PSK (getting better)
    WPA2-PSK

    Also, what model of router, what wireless network adapter and brand/model of netbook? I'm curious, have you tried unplugging the power from the router and plugging it back in again? Also, when you are trying to connect to the network, are you specifying the correct security type? Open, shared, wep, wpa/wpa2?
