Exactly! A target market would be --
Younger men -- sporty cars, beer & wine & hard liquor, clothes, ads related to sports
Older men -- high-end luxury cars, alcoholic drinks, clothes, ads related to sports
Older people -- retirement communities, cemeteries, funeral homes, vacation resorts, hygiene products, medical miracle solutions, anti-aging products
Writers -- workshops, colleges with writing majors, writing colonies, writing materials, subsidy presses
The magazines that appeal to the above groups will feature those kinds of ads listed. You won't find an ad for a retirement community in a writers' magazine or for a cemetery in a young men's magazine..
