I'm a nice person, not bad looking, maybe a little shy, but once I get to know people I am a very loyal friend. I never do anything wrong to my friends I swear. I am constantly feeling lonely in my life because I go through friends so much. I've had 6 friends in the last couple of years where it started great but he slowly drift apart and the talking becomes less frequent. I try asking if they want to hang out but sometimes it's always be asking and they never ask me. When I ask my friends why we never hang out they say they are busy lately, but I am busy too. I am in University and I have made a few friends here but I'm scared I'm going to lose them like the other ones. The problem is I'm not sure why I keep losing friends, especially when at one time we seem so close. Can someone help me?

I think you expect too much, but that's from someone with very few friends. But I am a people person so go figure. I can only tell you not to trip over the fact that many people come and go through out your life, but few stay to share for very long.

I think you may be wanting more than what is happening, and that in itself is confusing, and can be disappointing. Just keep being social, and sooner or later you make friends for now that lasts for life.

Wanting what you don't have, is part of the quirk of being human. I think!! Don't take it personally.

Friendship is all about understanding. If a person does not understands you,he/she does not worth your friendship and this applies to you too.you must also try and understand them.
And if you feel that they are avoiding you.. don't confuse yourself because there is a well know saying :
If you love someone let them go if they come back they are yours,and if not they don't deserve you.

It's the same case with friendship too.. all you have to do is wait. :)

I never keep friendships either. Yes it is hard but after time you get over it. Even if you don't hang out with them at least try keeping in touch every once in a while. Try making new friends that are just like you, who are also shy.
