Me n my boyfriend have been dating 5 mo at first we talked for 2 mo and we had a connection I met him online and one day he decided to come and meet me so we did it was the most amazing feeling I ever felt so from that day on he came every weekend just to see me he lived 2 hr away he's in the army and even if he had to work nights he would find some way to come everything was great until February came and he had to go to iraq before he left he told that he loved me and not to give up on us cause he was going come back so we could get married and have kids he said I meant the world to him he was glad I came into his life and we met and I was the best thing that happened to him and meant the world to him and I was all he needed no other girl but me he said the feelings he had form me were so strong so I believed him and didn't worry that much we made so many plans like having kids moving in together when he got back he said I his future wife and he only wanted to leave so he could come back to me so we could start our lives together.. so he left but we still talked every chance he got he would call me or e mail or something it was all good he would always tell me to think positive cause that's what he was doing but then in April like the last week of April he would'nt talk to me anymore I messaged him until a few days later he answered me and told me they were really busy and didn't have time to talk anymore and he told me that he felt that he was holding me back from things here because he was over there and he didn't know when they were going come cause they might extend them for 18 mo I told him that it was OK n that I was going wait for him and to not think that he was holding me back because I love him so we stayed together I still kept sending him messages just to let him know that I loved him so like 5 days later he wrote back and told me he was sorry that he could'nt message because they were so busy and he had been putting a lot of thought into this but he thought that it was better that we do separate and it was something he had to do and he wasn't mentally set for a relationship with all the stress over there and he wished he didn't have to do this but it had to be done I was so heart broken I didn't understand why he wanted to do this but I told him OK n I respected his decision but I was never expecting him to write back to me cause I knew he was busy and he loved me I was willing to wait for him and I was here if he needed to talk and now he hasn't written to me or anything I'm so confused and I don't understand why he wanted to end our relationship all my friends said that he seemed so in love with me and I thought so too with all the things he told me I don't know what's wrong with him I want to understand him but I don't know how because I don't know what is wrong with him?? He was suppose to go on his leave this July and come and see me but now I guess not he would always tell me how he could'nt wait to come home and see me but then I read that he was going go with his family for his 2 week leave I thought he would still come n see me so we could talk... I love him so much and I don't want to loose him but I think I have already and I can't get over him I just hope he still loves me and hopefully we can get back together when he comes back from iraq :confused:

He's fighting a war on the other side of the planet. No offense, but he's got other priorities to worry about and there not you, and they shouldn't be you. You only invested 5 months, be grateful it wasn't 5 years and take the valuable lessons and move forward.
