    What to say to an ex after not communicating for 5 months
    After being married for 6 years, he broke up with me. After the divorce
    He and I communicated and met 3 times. It has now been 5 months of no
    Contact, should I contact him and what should I say?

    Try reading through the forum posts and see advice given to other people.

    You should not contact him. Remember, he broke it off with you. You should no longer invest the time and energy into someone who does not want to be with you.

    NOOOOOO stay away from him!! What's the point of talking to him?? After 6 years he left u!! U neeed to shut that part of your life up and move on!! Please do... if you contact him it will only open an old can of rotten worms. He hurt u, u deserve better. I promise.

    Why is a good question?
    After six years,you're probably still healing from the divorce,so no contact is the best option.

    Before any advice can be given it would help to know why you want/need to contact him.

    Does this deal with kids or family?
    Is it a financial matter?
    Are you looking for opportunities to get back together?
