What to do is confusing me.
I love someone very much and this person knows this and has done so since I told him a few years ago. I do communicate with him often by email etc. but he hasn't replied making me believe the obvious, yet I have such a strong feeling, intuition whatever you want to call it, that he has got feelings for me but doesn't want to enter into a relationship, yet or maybe even never. Do I continue being the friend I have always been for him or is it time to move away from him now in spite of how painful it will be for me?

I'd move on. This person has made it clear they are not interested in more of a relationship with you no matter how much you may like there to be one. If they were interested, there would be no reason why they could not have responded to your e-mails, knowing for a few years how you feel.

Time to hang this one up, and allow yourself to be free for a relationship at some point that involves two interested people.

If you can remain on friendly terms without it causing you distress, fine. Although it doesn't sound as if there is even much of a friendship going on if he hasn't responded to you... perhaps that too is mostly one sided?

If you find it all too frustrating and confusing, just stop contacting him and let it go.

    I wish you well...

Time to move on to better things because your feelings are misleading you.

Yeah you should move on.. We should have feelings only for them who cares for you and loves you.. Not anyone else..
