    Weird siuation
    So me and my boyfriend decided to go on a break a few weeks ago. First we did it for about three days and then he said he missed me and missed knowing if I was okay and everything.we were getting along really well(besides a few fights we did before the break too)the reason for the break was he didn't know if he wanted the responsibility of a girlfriend. So after another few days I asked if he was still confused and he said yes so I said maybe we should go on a break again because I didn't want to be lead on. Now its only a week later but basically he said he wanted about a week to think things over and I was telling him if he doesn't know if he wants me now I don't know when he will because he keeps saying he misses me but misses his space as well. Now he decided we should go on a date this weekend and that he wants to start from 'scratch' as in being single, then dating, then being in an actual relationship. We've been in a relationship for 9 months but I'm not sure if this is even a good idea. I'm also worried because he's leaving for 2 weeks soon coming back for a week then going away for another month and a half. Does anyone have experience with this or see it as a good thing?

    I would wait unil he comes back to try anything. If you see him before he leaves, it might be hard on you.

    That is probably why he is saying he needs a break: because he will be gone and he might meet and date people. At least he is being honest and not misleading.

    Well he basically goes away every other month he's in a band but its never been a problem about that because when we didn't date and he did this he never really met people

    How old are you two? Maybe be he is just feeling different now about meeting other people.
