I still miss him
Hi I'm almost eighteen. I don't have a b/f. I broke up with my last ex 4 months ago and I still miss him... I really don't know why?? I'm not really the type to get asked out by anybody... im a size 16 and nobody around here seems to like that... I know I should get over him but I don't know how... could someone help me here please??

I always find being busy the best way to move on from something like that. Find a hobby. Go out with your friends. Anything to take your mind off him.
Now about being a size 16, unless its causing health problems for you, there's nothing wrong with that. And if you accept yourself that way, you're self confidence will show through and others will accept you as well. I may be totally off here, but since you included it here I have a feeling you're not accepting yourself that way. Maybe the best thing for you to do would be to start a new exercise routine. You'll be doing something to take your mind off him, AND working out tends to make people feel better overall. Hope this helps.

Do something good for yourself and feel good about yourself. When you are happy with who you are and having a great time others will want to share that time with you.
Get busy making a list of things to do that you enjoy.

Thanks I'll try that out too... its just so hard not to forget him because he's pretty much in everyone of my classes and I don't have very many friends because... well that's another story (its much longer, more hurtful etc.) I think I'm a very good person to get along with its just people don't seem to like me... I feel so rejected most of the time...

Don't feel rejected! At the very least, you have some great people on here who will always have an open ear!
Being single is pretty fun, so find a way to enjoy it. I forgot how much fun it was, but now, I am a happy dude! What's on your mind? What does a gal like you like to do?

Well I really like to read and I listen to my iPod a lot... I can hardly go anywhere cause I don't have my license yet and I have to work all the time... I also like drawing and playing my ps2... but none of that sounds interesting huh?

Non of that sounds interesting? Do you know how many people play PS2 or have an IPOD?
You just seem to have low self confidence, which impacts your ability to get a friend, or have a meaningful relationship with anyone, period. Perhaps you should work on your own self image... you constantly post that you are a size 16, so that seems to bother you a bit.

It does a bit actually cause the only girls around here are sizes below 10 and their the only ones that get asked out by all the guys here :~(

Screw the guys. Quit worrying about them. At that age, all they look for are the magazine cover types, or the ones that are easy. So you are neither... and that is super, as you have your own identity. Believe me, you are too young right now to worry about the "guys." We really ain't worth worrying about...
Carry on...

He's right about all of that. Another thing to remember about friends, its all about quality not quantity. I have very few people that I would truly consider friends. But I wouldn't trade them for anything. Don't worry about being the most popular or w/e as long as you've got at least one good friend. :)
