    Starting over?
My ex and I have been broken you for six months now. I left for college and we realized we cannot do long distance because we didn't have time for each other. He has mentioned a few times how if I hadn't have left how we would probably be together. It was mentioned again today when I mentioned today that I will be moving back home at the end of the year. I would love to get back with him but so much has changed, he has changed and so have I and I know that things won't be the same. I do not know if I want to start over. I want to be with him, I just do not know what to expect. We have been apart for so long. Should I try again? When we were together things where great. I don't even know what to do. Or even where to start? Any advice?

This is very common and something that the young people in high school seldom will believe. We grow and change and mature a lot after high school. And you have grown apart, new interst, new ways to look at things,

If you want to try, it can not be the old relationship, itwill be a new one and you will need to chat and see what there still is in common.

Thanks, I guess the only think I can do is try. It is really the only way to know if this could work. Your right it won't be the old relationship, it will be a new one. We'll talk and see where this all goes. Thanks again.

I agree with this statement, it would be basically like starting fresh try and keep that mind set.

Talk to him, and see if he agrees with you.

So I take it you have been with someone else in the meantime. Must not have worked out.
