Take your date somewhere out of town; somewhere you & X have never been and not likely to run into her. Leave your cell phone turned off and locked in the glove box. When you start thinking about X or feeling guilty for having a good date take a deep breath and clear your mind. Make everything different so that nothing reminds you of X and pangs of guilt don't creep up. Order Tuna instead of steak. Bleu Cheese dressing instead of house... you get it...

One last question: The fact that she was going through my journal and now somehow finding my passwords and going through my emails is an utmost invasion of privacy, so severe as to be grounds for not talking to someone again, let alone breaking up. Not to mention the constant stalking of an ex I hadn't talked to for years.

So my question is do you agree with my assessment and how would you feel and/or react if you found your so or ex doing so?
If you can afford it,pack her stuff and rent a small storage and let her know its paid until certain day, after that it's on her.

On the cellphone thing, if you have AT&T, you can get one of those Samsung TV phones and they have selective caller reject; some landline providers have similar features. You can't block the text messages, but at least you don't have your phone blowing up all the time.
I expect that she will burn herself out of this, or at least become distracted. It's pretty hard to keep up that level of intensity for long periods w/o any reinforcement, so remember that complete nonresponse is the only way to avoid reinforcing the annoying behaviors.
