She (I presume) is simply showing an interest in who you are, and at least enough to get to know you better.

Unless you are in prison serving three life sentences, what have you got to hide.

What she probably means is, what school did you go to, what do you do for a living, tell me about your family, what sports you are into, do you have a pet, what books do you like to read, what kind of movies do you like, are you up on current events in the news, do you drive a car, what kind of food do you like or dislike. Do you have a lot of friends, and what activities do you do with them. What kind of music do like, do you go to concerts and which one was your favourite.

Those are some examples of how to open up a conversation, and gain some substance about another person, and find common insterests. At least enough to keep a conversation going, and possibly develop a friendship.

Just talk, you never know where a conversation will lead you.

What are you afraid to talk about how you like to spend your time, or express your hopes and dreams?? She asks a question, answer honestly, and ask her about herself, and pay attention to her answer, so you can both understand how you are with each other. Its called a conversation. Just relax and answer her questions.
