    Socialising
Me and the ex met through a socialising website to meet new friends. Our parents also work together.

The point is my and ex attended many events together and we both host events. Should I attend events where she is there? Or do you think this is emotionally unhealthy and she ended the relationship last week.

We dated for 5 months including several holidays.

I am hurting but don't want to loose the chance of socialising with others as she is there. Also don't want to loose the chance of any future reconciliation or being friends. Always useful to have women friends.

What sort of events do you both host?
I'm just curious - in general if someone breaks up with you, your are better off having no contact at all.

They are basically anything from kayaking to pub quiz to live music. You basically post something on the site and ask people to attend. Idea is to meet new people and friends.
